RMHC GRANTS
**NOTE**: RMHC of Greater Houston/Galveston has temporarily suspended funding of any grants until further notice while we undergo feasibility studies for a second Care Mobile.
Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Greater Houston/Galveston, Inc. funds grants to other not-for-profit organizations whose programs directly benefit our local children in the areas of education and healthcare.
Some of the programs that RMHC® have sponsored include:
The Passport for Care® program at Texas Children's Hospital: An "innovative Web-based application that provides childhood cancer survivors and their physicians with immediate access to a survivor’s diagnosis and treatment history. The Passport for Care provides detailed, individualized health care recommendations based on the most up-to-date national survivorship care guidelines." – quoted from TCH website.

Ronald McDonald CHEER!® Room (Children's Health Education Enrichment Resource): The Ronald McDonald CHEER! Room is a program in partnership with the UTMB Regional Maternal/Child Health Program. The Ronald McDonald CHEER! Room is a safe, and child-friendly room in the clinic space where bilingual "play with a purpose" engages children in mini health education activities while their mother's receive prenatal care.
